We Are The People

1 Kings 22:22- ²² The Lord said to him, ‘In what way?’ So he said, ‘I will go out and be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.’ And the Lord said, ‘You shall persuade him, and also prevail. Go out and do so.’

God says to the lying spirit, “Go persuade and prevail.”  God knew the hearts of the Prophets.  They had already proved themselves that they did not have a love for the Truth so God used them to accomplish His will to punish the disobedient Ahab.  PRAY that our leaders will have the mind of Christ and have a discerning heart when hearing God’s voice and avoid the tragedy Ahab brought on himself.
