Thursday August 15, 2019 “Destroy the High Places”

1 Kings 22:42-43: 43 And he walked in all the ways of his father Asa. He did not turn aside from them, doing what was right in the eyes of the Lord. Nevertheless the high places were not taken away, for the people offered sacrifices and burned incense on the high places.
Jehoshaphat did well in many areas of life following the Lord. However he tolerated idolatry that was practiced in the places. Pray that the “idolatry in high places”- will be dealt with. There are so many places in American life that idolizes people and things. Pray that the church will recognize these abominations and reveal them for what they are and have no part in them.
