1 Kings 22:48- ⁴⁸ Jehoshaphat made ^[a]merchant ships to go to Ophir for gold; but they never sailed, for the ships were wrecked at Ezion Geber.

Jehoshaphat made an alliance with King Ahab of Israel (An evil King) to build the ships.  The ships never sailed, they sunk.  PRAY that our nation will never simply chase after “gold” at the expense of making bad decisions in international relationships.
