“Then it happened” and “suddenly” God was doing a new thing in Israel. Elijah was being “promoted” to heaven and Elisha was being promoted to stand on the shoulders of his master, Elijah. From that vantage point Elisha would be able to see beyond the vision of Elijah. Pray for the November elections. America needs people like Elisha who was greatly empowered by the Holy spirit and had a servant’s heart. Things could change quickly in America if we have men and women mightily empowered by God serving our country by faith.
