2 Kings 2:20 And he said, “Bring me a new bowl, and put salt in it.” So they brought it to him.

In v.19 we discovered that there was bad water and bad soil in the city. The men the city were told to bring Elisha a bowl of salt. The men asked no questions concerning how the salt could change things. They just brought what the prophet requested. Pray that there will be a trust among leaders and citizens that will be the fruit of good stewardship by the leaders who have proven themselves by wise decisions made according to biblical truth.
