Monday May 11, 2020 “A Stick”

2 Kings 6:5-6 But as one was cutting down a tree, the iron ax head fell into the water; and he cried out and said, “Alas, master! For it was borrowed.”
6 So the man of God said, “Where did it fall?” And he showed him the place. So he cut off a stick, and threw it in there; and he made the iron float.

After our Mother’s Day special edition yesterday we are back on the path of 2 Kings. Let’s find a point of prayer in: 2 Kings 6:5-6 But as one was cutting down a tree, the iron ax head fell into the water; and he cried out and said, “Alas, master! For it was borrowed.” 6 So the man of God said, “Where did it fall?” And he showed him the place. So he cut off a stick, and threw it in there; and he made the iron float.
“He cut off a stick and threw it in the waters.”
The answer for that which was lost (the axe head) was found in the wooden stick. Pray that many afflicted with the Covid 19 will find the double cure – healing and forgiveness through the sacrifice of the cross of Christ that has been thrust into man’s sinfulness.
What seems as foolishness to man is a miracle in the making with God.
