Hebrews 11:6
6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night Edition of “We are the People” Prayer for America. Every Sunday we bring together the hearts of intercessors that choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6:00p.m. and 9:00p.m. using the focus points listed below as a guide. May God bless you for your concern for America’s future expressed in prayer tonight. We encourage you to join us in prayer daily and invite others to join us.
It is the day before Memorial Day and our thoughts are toward those who have lost loved ones in war and in recent years. We also remember family members who have gone on before us to their heavenly reward. As we pray this evening let us remember Hebrews 11:6 “God is not unrighteous to forget our work and labors of love.”
Prayer Focus #1: Pray for families who have lost loved ones in military service, especially those who have experienced the loss in recent years.
Prayer Focus #2: Pray for God’s best blessings upon on the families of heroes of faith who have laid down their lives in a very personal way in combat. In this way, they have shown the greatest display of love possible Jesus said.
Prayer Focus #3: Picnics and family reunions will grace America’s homes tomorrow. Pray for families who have lost close family members since last Memorial Day. If you are a part of a situation like this, be open to God using you to bring words of love, hope, and salvation to your family members.
