“Answered Prayer”
Genesis 24:45-46
45 “But before I had finished speaking in my heart, there was Rebekah, coming out with her pitcher on her shoulder; and she went down to the well and drew water. And I said to her, ‘Please let me drink.’ 46 And she made haste and let her pitcher down from her shoulder, and said, ‘Drink, and I will give your camels a drink also.’ So I drank, and she gave the camels a drink also.
Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night Edition of “We are the People” Prayer for America. Every Sunday we bring together the hearts of intercessors that choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6:00p.m. and 9:00p.m. using the focus point listed below as a guide. May God bless you for your concern for America’s future expressed in prayer tonight. We encourage you to join us in prayer daily and invite others to join us.
Prayer Focus #1: Eleazar’s prayers were answered. Rebekah came with a pitcher ready to do her daily task. Pray that those believers in America destined to be a part of God’s great end- time Holy Spirit empowered move of righteousness will step up with willing hearts and a willingness to surrender their gifts to God’s purposes.
Prayer Focus #2: As Eleazar said, “let me drink,” may God’s servants humbly request continual refreshing from the Lord as the battle rages in this world sold under sin and confusion lest we fall into the deceptions of the age. Let our prayers be as Christ’s on the cross, “I thirst.”
Prayer Focus #3: Eleazar was parched from the journey and Rebekah recognized his need of refreshing and the camel’s. Pray that believers across America will see the need of harvest is great and become willing partners helping to carry the load that a few are carrying.
