Genesis 24:51
51 Here is Rebekah before you; take her and go, and let her be your master’s son’s wife, as the Lord has spoken.”
Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night Edition of “We are the People” Prayer for America. Every Sunday we bring together the hearts of intercessors that choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6:00p.m. and 9:00p.m. using the focus point listed below as a guide. Eliezer sought a bride for Abraham’s son, Isaac. He traveled many miles to the place Abraham asked him to go and find a bride that would be a good mate for his son. In this verse we find at least 3 prayer points tonight we can agree on in prayer.
Prayer Focus #1: Rebekah’s family members told Eliezer “Take her and go.” Pray that when God’s servants find someone interested in following Christ, there will be favor extended by their family members concerning their loved one being discipled in their new family of faith.
Prayer Focus #2: “Let Rebekah be Isaac’s bride.” Pray that God’s servants in our day find cooperation with families of new converts allowing them to gather with God’s people.
Prayer Focus #3: It is interesting to note that Rebekah’s family members recognized this was a “God thing” that happened with Rebekah. Pray for a profound and sovereign move of God across America that will be evident and brings people to God and righteous living as the Bride of Christ.
