We Are The People

Genesis 25:10-11

^“10 the field which Abraham purchased from the sons of Heth. There Abraham was buried, and Sarah his wife. ¹¹ And it came to pass, after the death of Abraham, that God blessed his son Isaac. And Isaac dwelt at Beer Lahai Roi.”

Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night Edition of “We are the People” Prayer for America.  Every Sunday we bring together the hearts of intercessors that choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6:00p.m. and 9:00p.m. using the focus point listed below as a guide. May God bless you for your concern for America’s future expressed in prayer tonight.  We encourage you to join us in prayer daily and invite others to join us.

These verses reveal the value of preparation and future generations.

Prayer Focus #1 Abraham purchased the ground to bury Sarah from the sons of Heth years before. Now it would be used for Sarah and Abraham’s final resting place. Pray that America’s leadership will unselfishly prepare for future generations in wise and prudent wages.

Prayer Focus #2 We are so blessed as a nation and we who are alive today live off of some of the blessings bestowed on past generations. Pray that economic regulations and conditions will continue to allow us to remember the work of God and worthy heirs when we finish our course on the earth.

Prayer Focus #3 Isaac set his stakes in Beer Lahai Roi. That land means “the well of the one who lives and sees me.” Abraham was usually transparent during his 175 years on earth. It seems that his heir, Isaac, desires to live under the watchful eye of God. As Americans we desire to have God’s light from above to guide us through the “nights” of life. Let us pray that we will equip our children with that same spirit of faith to live transparently before the Lord who knows all, sees all and makes a way for all who openly live in faith before Him.
