We Are The People

Gen. 26:7 And the men of the place asked about his wife. And he said, “She is my sister”; for he was afraid to say, “She is my wife,” because he thought, “lest the men of the place kill me for Rebekah, because she is beautiful to behold.”

The Bible exhorts us to “know how to answer every man.” Isaac only answered partly in truth for Rebekah was Isaac’s wife.  God gave Rebekah to Isaac as part of his “land” so Isaac did not have to fear losing her which led to a lie. Pray that believers in America will see that the land (all God has given them) is securely theirs – they just need to possess it and refuse to fear the loss of God’s gifts which are without repentance.  For that means what is received from God will be ours as long as the earth endures.
