Thursday August 31, 2023 “What We Behold”
Gen. 26:7 And the men of the place asked about his wife. And he said, “She is my sister”; for he was afraid to say, “She is my wife,” because he thought, “lest the men of the place kill me for Rebekah, because she is beautiful to behold.”
It seems that the sin of Abraham had fallen to Isaac. Both lied concerning the wives. Let us pray today that Christian leaders in America will see past outward worth to what is the core values of God’s gifts He blesses us with in relationships with other countries and treaties we enter into with them because of their beauty (benefits).
