Sunday September 10, 2023“Can’t Stop the Flow of God”

Genesis 26:15-17

15 Now the Philistines had stopped up all the wells which his father’s servants had dug in the days of Abraham his father, and they had filled them with earth. 16 And Abimelech said to Isaac, “Go away from us, for you are much mightier than we.”17 Then Isaac departed from there and [a]pitched his tent in the Valley of Gerar, and dwelt there.

Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night Edition of “We are the People” Prayer for America.  Every Sunday we bring together the hearts of intercessors that choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6:00p.m. and 9:00p.m. using the focus point listed below as a guide. May God bless you for your concern for America’s future expressed in prayer tonight.  We encourage you to join us in prayer daily and invite others to join us.

The enemy of Isaac, God’s man, did not like anything about Isaac or his ancestral father Abraham. These verses provide at least three prayer points for us this evening:

Prayer Focus #1 It is clear in verse 15 that God’s enemies not only hate their contemporaries who serve the Lord, they also want all the history of the belief of the godly to be blotted out. Pray that all attempts to undo what America is and stands for will be brought to nothing and that all America is constitutionally and biblically will stand.

Prayer Focus #2 Abimelech, Isaac’s enemy wanted Isaac to leave because he knew that Isaac was greater than he was. Pray that the enemies of truth in America today will realize that they do not have anything to stand on for they are the weaker in the land. Those who remain to God and the constitution will always be the greater ones.

Prayer Focus #3 Just as Isaac discovered, finding a place for himself, family, and others the people of God will always find a place in America. Pray that we will have this truth established in our hearts and that we will never fail to see God’s place for us in America and in the future. America needs Christian values to be a blessed land.
