We Are The People

Genesis 28:4 “And give you the blessing of Abraham, To you and your descendants with you, That you may inherit the land In^[a] which you are a stranger, Which God gave to Abraham.”

Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night Edition of “We are the People” Prayer for America.  Every Sunday we bring together the hearts of intercessors that choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6:00p.m. and 9:00p.m. using the focus point listed below as a guide. May God bless you for your concern for America’s future expressed in prayer tonight.  We encourage you to join us in prayer daily and invite others to join us.

These verses go back to Father Abraham and give us a godly perspective on the affect of righteousness on those around us when God’s blessing is on us. The blessings of Abraham are revealed in Genesis 12:1-3 – a land, a great name, ability to bless others and God’s blessing upon those who bless you and God cursing those who curse you.

Prayer Focus #1 Abraham’s blessing included land that has been in dispute for many years. Pray that America remains on the side of Israel who is the descendant of Abraham and has rightful ownership to the land.

Prayer Focus #2 Abraham and his descendants have been honored by God being given a great name. Pray that America will always hold Israel in high regard among the family of nations.

Prayer Focus #3 Pray that America as a nation and Christians will always bless Israel and never curse whom God has blessed.
