We Are The People

Genesis 29:5-7 “⁵ Then he said to them, “Do you know Laban the son of Nahor? ”And they said, “We know him.” ⁶ So he said to them, “Is he well?” And they said, “He is well. And look, his daughter Rachel is coming with the sheep.” ⁷ Then he said, “Look, it is still ^[a]high day; it is not time for the cattle to be gathered together. Water the sheep, and go and feed them.”

Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night Edition of “We are the People” Prayer for America.  Every Sunday we bring together the hearts of intercessors that choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6:00p.m. and 9:00p.m. using the focus point listed below as a guide. May God bless you for your concern for America’s future expressed in prayer tonight.  We encourage you to join us in prayer daily and invite others to join us.

Jacob was on a mission from God, and he had a concern for others, and he obtained favor.

Prayer Focus #1 Jacob not only desired to know if the people knew Laban, he wanted to know of his well-being. Pray that America will remain a nation that desires to know how other nations align with others, but also how those nations are doing in providing for their own and their position on human rights.

Prayer Focus #2 Talk about divine intersections in life. Laban’s daughter Rachel shows up at the exact moment of Jacob’s arrival in the land. Pray for divine intersections in the Israeli-Hamas war negotiations. Especially when America is involved in those talks so we can see God’s hand and work along with Him, not against the Lord’s will.

Prayer Focus #3 The hand of favor upon Jacob (Israel) is evident here because of Jacob’s kindness and care for others. Pray that America will find favor as we use Biblical wisdom in dealing with international issues especially concerning Israel.
