We Are The People

Genesis 29:33-34 “³³ Then she conceived again and bore a son, and said, “Because the Lord has heard that I am ^[a]unloved, He has therefore given me this son also.” And she called his name ^[b]Simeon. ³⁴ She conceived again and bore a son, and said, “Now this time my husband will become attached to me, because I have borne him three sons.” Therefore his name was called ^[c]Levi.”

Leah continued to have sons and whenever she gave birth she repeated her desire for acceptance and love by her husband Jacob. It is obvious that she looked for love and acceptance in all the wrong places. What she really needed was to understand and accept the love of God. Let us pray today with all of the unsettled hearts in America there will be a search for and discovery of the love of God by many restless souls seeking acceptance and love found in only Jesus Christ.
