Genesis 30:28 “28 Then he said, “Name me your wages, and I will give it.”
Laban is desperate. He desires the blessing that have come to him because of Jacob’s presence, and he sounds desperate in his request that Jacob stay in the land. I will pay all that I must to keep your presence with me. It seems that in America many of our major cities feel the loss of blessing and are attempting to legislate and tax to make up what has been lost due to the lack of righteousness in their city. pray that the true reason for their chaos (unrighteousness) will be understood by city fathers and that they will desire Bible principles be restored that will change the environment instead of throwing money at the problems due to unrighteousness.
