Genesis 31:8-9 ⁸ If he said thus: ‘The speckled shall be your wages,’ then all the flocks bore speckled. And if he said thus: ‘The streaked shall be your wages,’ then all the flocks bore streaked. ⁹ So God has taken away the livestock of your father and given them to me.”

God had given Jacob a plan to prosper him by taking some of the flocks belonging to Jacob’s father in-law and giving the blessing to Jacob. pray that god’s people will have blessings flow as the scripture teaches – “God lays up treasure from the wicked and gives it to the just.” Expect blessings from unexpected sources.
