Genesis 31:17-18

¹⁷ Then Jacob rose and set his sons and his wives on camels. ¹⁸ And he carried away all his livestock and all his possessions which he had gained, his acquired livestock which he had gained in Padan Aram, to go to his father Isaac in the land of Canaan.

Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night Edition of “We are the People” Prayer for America.  Every Sunday we bring together the hearts of intercessors that choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6:00pm and 9:00pm using the focus point listed below as a guide. May God bless you for your concern for America’s future expressed in prayer tonight.  We encourage you to join us in prayer daily and invite others to join us.

Jacob put his family on camels. Camels provide speed and endurance which would be necessary for Jacob to return to the land of Canaan. Let us agree on three prayer points today:

Prayer Focus #1: Pray that God’s people in America will work swiftly to see our beloved land ruse up and pursue the purposes of God in our generation.

Prayer Focus #2 Pray that Christian men and women in politics will craft and support fiscal and cultural policies that will stand the test of time not simply for the moment.

Prayer Focus #3 Jacob gathered up all he had and headed to his father’s house and the land of his father. Pray that God’s people in America will desire to see America turn back to the faith of the Fathers and be committed to see this great land be restored to its once honored position among the nations of the world.
