Sunday, February 11, 2024“Jacob Pursued by Laban”
Genesis 31:22-23 “22 And Laban was told on the third day that Jacob had fled. 23 Then he took his brethren with him and pursued him for seven days’ journey, and he overtook him in the mountains of Gilead.”
Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night Edition of “We are the People” Prayer for America. Every Sunday we bring together the hearts of intercessors that choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6:00pm and 9:00pm using the focus point listed below as a guide. Jacob fled as God told him to do but he was pursued by Laban.
Prayer Focus #1: Pray that God will confuse the enemies of God’s people so they might not have the insider information as there was for Laban. There will then be the slowing down of the information that can hinder the work and will of God.
Prayer Focus #2 Laban pursued Jacob overtaking him on day 7. Pray that the confusion I spoke of above will slow down the pursuit of God’s people by the enemy and so give God’s people in America a better position to present God’s enemies from limiting God’s advancing His influence in society.
Prayer Focus #3 Jacob was overtaken in the mountains he set out for. Pray that as God’s people find themselves making great progress for God’s kingdom, they will be vigilant to see the approaching enemy.
