Genesis 31:36 “³⁶ Then Jacob was angry and rebuked Laban, and Jacob answered and said to Laban: “What is my ^[a]trespass? What is my sin, that you have so hotly pursued me?”

Today is an unusual day on our calendar. February 29 only comes around every 4 years on leap year. after many years of service to Laban, Jacob chose to return to his father’s land. Laban pursued his son-in-law for leaving without them saying farewell to him. Laban was angry because he was convinced they carried off his household idols. Pray that on days when things are a little hectic and confusing that God’s people will look at the situation through the lens of love and redeeming values not, anger and retribution.
