We Are The People

Genesis 31:38-39 “³⁸ These twenty years I have been with you; your ewes and your female goats have not miscarried their young, and I have not eaten the rams of your flock. ³⁹ That which was torn by beasts I did not bring to you; I bore the loss of it. You required it from my hand, whether stolen by day or stolen by night.”

Jacob was telling his father-in-law, Laban, I have gone above and beyond what would be expected. Pray that Christians in America will go above and beyond what is expected, thus leaving no room for the adversary to accuse us of not doing enough. Jesus described God’s people as those who are mad better than the average in Christ Jesus as taught in the Sermon on the Mount.
