We Are The People

Genesis 31:43 “⁴³ And Laban answered and said to Jacob, “These daughters are my daughters, and these children are my children, and this flock is my flock; all that you see is mine. But what can I do this day to these my daughters or to their children whom they have borne?”

Laban, as everyone, has a soft-belly and Laban’s was his daughters, grandchildren and his flocks. Laban, it seems, had a soft spot in his heart for them. Pray that as true believers in America we will discern the soft spots in the lives of those who oppose us and God’s word. Perhaps we can then find some opportunities to help them see the value of some things we value and help them open their hearts to truth.
