Genesis 31:44 “⁴⁴ Now therefore, come, let us make a ^[a]covenant, you and I, and let it be a witness between you and me.”

Laban began to willingly desire some kind of reconciliation with Jacob because of the common ground between He and Jacob (i.e. his daughters and grandchildren.) Pray that God’s people in America will recognize places of cooperation with people who may not always believe exactly like we do but we see they are making conciliatory moves toward what is right.
