Genesis 31:49 “⁴⁹ It was also called Mizpah,^[a] because he said, “May the Lord keep watch between you and me when we are away from each other.”

the Rocks of witness was called Mizpah. This meant that God was watching over Jacob and Laban even when they did not see one another. This meant that each party must do things and make decisions as if the other party was right before them. Pray that our politicians would talk and conduct themselves in a way that they could do what they do and say what they say as if members of the other party were right before them.
