Genesis 35:18 “¹⁸ And so it was, as her soul was departing (for she died), that she called his name ^[a]Ben-Oni; but his father called him ^[b]Benjamin.”

Unfortunately, Rachel died in giving birth. She named the child Ben-Oni which means “Son of my sorrow.” Jacob, or Israel, called him Benjamin which means, “Son of the right hand.” We know the child as Benjamin who made his mark for God. Pray that the people of God will fulfil a “Benjamin” calling and make their mark on America and not be marked as a son of sorrow.
