Genesis 36:40-43 “⁴⁰ And these were the names of the chiefs of Esau, according to their families and their places, by their names: Chief Timnah, Chief ^[a]Alvah, Chief Jetheth, ⁴¹ Chief ^[b]Aholibamah, Chief Elah, Chief Pinon, ⁴² Chief Kenaz, Chief Teman, Chief Mibzar, ⁴³ Chief Magdiel, and Chief Iram. These were the chiefs of Edom, according to their dwelling places in the land of their possession. Esau was the father of ^[c]the Edomites.”

Esau was the father of the Edomites. Esau was Jacob’s brother and there was much strife between the two. Pray that the “chiefs of Israel” will not fight against the Chiefs of Edom (Esau) in the flesh but in the spiritual realm.
