In August, we are following a prayer guide from the Assemblies of God U.S. Missions.

Pray for healing in minds and emotions. Loneliness is an epidemic in the U.S., and the topic of mental health can lead to condemnation and shame. As Psalm 34:18 says, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” Pray for understanding and compassion within the Church and proper treatment.
