In August, we are following a prayer guide from the Assemblies of God U.S. Missions.

Pray for deliverance from hopelessness. “Deaths of despair” is an expression used by doctors and sociologists to describe the last decade’s increase in death by suicide, alcohol poisoning, and drug overdoses. Many Americans feel hopeless. Pray for their salvation and deliverance, as modeled in Romans 15:13.
