We Are The People

Genesis 37:25 “²⁵ And they sat down to eat a meal. Then they lifted their eyes and looked, and there was a company of Ishmaelites, coming from Gilead with their camels, bearing spices, balm, and myrrh, on their way to carry them down to Egypt.”

While eating a meal after throwing Joseph in a pit, the brothers saw some Ishmaelites passing their way and they began to think of how they could profit from these travelling merchants. Unknown to Joseph’s brothers, God was at work behind the scenes to accomplish His will for Joseph and all of mankind in the falness of time through Christ. Pray that when we see anti-God, anti-Biblical voices rise up that we will keep our focus on the bigger picture that God can be making a way where there seems to be none.
