Genesis 39:1 “Now Joseph had been taken down to Egypt. And Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh, captain of the guard, an Egyptian, bought him from the Ishmaelites who had taken him down there.”

Joseph was bought by Potiphar. Potiphar himself seemed to be an okay guy but if you know the story, Potiphar’s wife was not so good. Pray that our good candidates for public office this fall will look deeper than the surface concerning endorsements or financial support. Pray that godly men and women will not be “bought.”
