We Are The People

Genesis 39:16-18

16 She kept his cloak beside her until his master came home. 17 Then she told him this story: “That Hebrew slave you brought us came to me to make sport of me. 18 But as soon as I screamed for help, he left his cloak beside me and ran out of the house.”

Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night Edition of “We are the People” Prayer for America.  Every Sunday we bring together the hearts of intercessors that choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6:00pm and 9:00pm EST using the focus point listed below as a guide. Potiphar’s wife lived so far from the truth that everything became a lie, and it seems she could no longer tell the truth from a lie.

Prayer Point #1: Pray that people in the media will be sensitive to the Holy Spirit who guides God’s people into all truth.

Prayer Point #2: Potiphar’s wife concealed Joseph’s garment to set a trap for the man of God. Pray that the snares of the enemy will be discovered and destroyed before harm is done to good men and women.

Prayer Point #3: Pray that good leaders will not “leave behind” in life anything that will jeopardize their Christian witness for Jesus.  We must keep our hearts pure before God so our testimony will not be questioned.
