We Are The People

Genesis 41:5-7 “⁵ He slept and dreamed a second time; and suddenly seven heads of grain came up on one stalk, plump and good. ⁶ Then behold, seven thin heads, blighted by the east wind, sprang up after them. ⁷ And the seven thin heads devoured the seven plump and full heads. So Pharaoh awoke, and indeed, it was a dream.”

Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night Edition of “We are the People” Prayer for America.  Every Sunday we bring together the hearts of intercessors that choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6:00pm and 9:00pm EST using the focus point listed below as a guide. It’s amazing after the first dream that Pharaoh was able to sleep once again. In these verses, we find ways to pray for our nation.

Prayer Point #1 First, the dream was about cows. How the second dream was about grain. Beside the cows, there must be grain for them to eat. Pray that the new cabinet members and other appointees will be men and women who have foresight that provides both current and future needs that will ensure sustained growth for America.

Prayer Point #2   Verse 6 speaks of an East wind. In the Bible the east winds we always from an evil source. Pray that the Spirit of the Lord will raise up a standard against the evil winds that have come against America. Natural winds like hurricanes and “bomb cyclones”, etc. but surrender to the Might King of Kings.

Prayer Point #3   There are natural winds and there are “winds of doctrine.” Pray that God’s people will stand against the strange doctrines that divide God’s people in the land. United we will stand against the wiles of devil.
