We Are The People

Genesis 41:32-36

32 And the dream was repeated to Pharaoh twice because the thing is established by God, and God will shortly bring it to pass.

33 “Now therefore, let Pharaoh select a discerning and wise man, and set him over the land of Egypt. 34 Let Pharaoh do this, and let him appoint [a]officers over the land, to collect one-fifth of the produce of the land of Egypt in the seven plentiful years. 35 And let them gather all the food of those good years that are coming, and store up grain under the [b]authority of Pharaoh, and let them keep food in the cities. 36 Then that food shall be as a [c]reserve for the land for the seven years of famine which shall be in the land of Egypt, that the land may not [d]perish during the famine.”

Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night Edition of “We are the People” Prayer for America.  Every Sunday we bring together the hearts of intercessors that choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6:00pm and 9:00pm EST using the focus point listed below as a guide. There was a confirmation of what was to happen by 2 dreams given by God. Pharaoh responded by setting a discerning man over all of Egypt and officers across the land to make sure there would be food enough for everyone. There was also a plan to follow. God sent 2 dreams.

Prayer Point #1 As God sent 2 dreams confirming what He was about to do, may our leaders have more than 1 source in making decisions that will affect the entire nation and not have the “grease the squeaky wheel” response to issues that affect us all.

Prayer Point #2 Pray that there will be political appointees at all levels that will work together for all Americans so no one will be left behind.

Prayer Point #3 There is no doubt that there was a God-given plan to ease the pain and save the nations of Egypt. Pray that America’s leaders will settle for nothing less than a God-given plan for the unsure days we live in.
