We Are The People

Genesis 41:55 “55 So when all the land of Egypt was famished, the people cried to Pharaoh for bread. Then Pharaoh said to all the Egyptians, “Go to Joseph; whatever he says to you, do.”

Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night Edition of “We are the People” Prayer for America.  Every Sunday we bring together the hearts of intercessors that choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6:00pm and 9:00pm EST using the focus point listed below as a guide. Time comes when all the efforts of men and man looks to God for an answer. This was one of those situations when that happens men are forced to pray. So let us follow the Prayer Points found in scripture:

Prayer Point #1 Pray that men in America will see that they have exhausted their resources and begin to look beyond themselves for answers to their desperate situations in life.  

Prayer Point #2 When the people cried out to Pharaoh for bread, Pharaoh had wisdom to tell the people, “Go to Joseph, the man of God.” Pray that our president and other leaders will have wisdom to direct people I need to find help that will also guide them to the place of faith in God to help them learn how to prepare for the days to come.

Prayer Point #3 Pharaoh had such trust in Joseph that he told the people of Egypt, “Whatever Joseph tells to do, do it.” Pray that America’s leaders will be willing to put some demands on people they help. We must teach all Americans to fish, not just stand in line for a fish sandwich.
