We Are The People

Genesis 41:56 “⁵⁶ The famine was over all the face of the earth, and Joseph opened ^[a]all the storehouses and sold to the Egyptians. And the famine became severe in the land of Egypt.”

In the days of Joseph there was a famine of a hearing ear for the word of God we are told in Amos 8:11. Now, we are told that in America more Bibles are being sold than ever before. Question is, are people truly hearing the word taught by people who have learned and lived the word or are those who are purchasing Bibles trying to figure things out? remember, Paul the Apostle wrote to Timothy saying, “Your Grandmother, mother and now you are becoming a person of the word Timothy.” Pray that people who are buying or receiving Bibles this Christmas season will find good Bible believing spirit churches to learn and serve in, as the famine of hearing the word of God is in the land.
