We Are The People

Genesis 42:7 “⁷ Joseph saw his brothers and recognized them, but he acted as a stranger to them and spoke ^[a]roughly to them. Then he said to them, “Where do you come from?”

And they said, “From the land of Canaan to buy food.”

In this verse we find opportunity for Joseph to initiate reconciliation. At times it is necessary for the offended party to be a little harsh when opportunities are before them to see the opportunity to make peace with ones who have offended them. Pray that with a spirit of meekness but not necessarily weakness we will see reconciliation between brothers in this new year.
