We Are The People

Genesis 42:12-15 ¹² “No!” he said to them. “You have come to see where our land is unprotected.”¹³ But they replied, “Your servants were twelve brothers, the sons of one man, who lives in the land of Canaan. The youngest is now with our father, and one is no more.”¹⁴ Joseph said to them, “It is just as I told you: You are spies! ¹⁵ And this is how you will be tested: As surely as Pharaoh lives, you will not leave this place unless your youngest brother comes here.

Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night Edition of “We are the People” Prayer for America.  Every Sunday we bring together the hearts of intercessors that choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6:00pm and 9:00pm EST using the focus point listed below as a guide. Remembering that Joseph recognized him, let us pray according to the following prayer points:

Prayer Point #1 Joseph once again accuses his brothers as spies to keep them from recognizing him as Joseph. Pray that without compromising truth that God’s people will have the mind of Christ in bringing unity to the church so we can accomplish God’s mission in meeting needs for bread both natural and spiritual through cooperation in the greatest missions thrust in 2025 the world has ever seen.

Prayer Point #2 The brothers at last are speaking the truth as far as they know it to be. Pray that with proper disclosures there will begin to be healing and provision in the Body of Christ that will prepare us all for the challenges by the devil to limit the effectiveness of God’s plans to bring the Gospel to every creature.  

Prayer Point #3 In verse 15, we see that there is a test to determine whether there is total transparency and disclosure by Joseph’s brothers. Pray that as we see in verse 15, that there is value in all parties be transparent when there is movement toward reconciliation that leads to salvation of many as we see in this example in the word of God.
