We Are The People

Genesis 43:3-5

³⁵ Then it happened as they emptied their sacks, that surprisingly each man’s bundle of money was in his sack; and when they and their father saw the bundles of money, they were afraid. ³⁶ And Jacob their father said to them, “You have bereaved me: Joseph is no more, Simeon is no more, and you want to take Benjamin. All these things are against me.”

Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night Edition of “We are the People” Prayer for America.  Every Sunday we bring together the hearts of intercessors that choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6:00pm and 9:00pm EST using the focus point listed below as a guide. Prayer Point #1 Judah, through whom Jesus the Messiah came into the word, was a truth teller. Pray that our government will always be truth tellers no matter how difficult it might be for us to hear what they say.

Prayer Point #2 Judah heard what “the man” (Joseph) said in Egypt concerning them coming back for food. He would hold Jacob and his sons accountable to the words of Joseph. Pray that there will be truth tellers who will keep others accountable in our government. That they do what they know is right in God’s eyes.

Prayer Point #3 Judah was not going to compromise what he knew were the conditions of the agreement. Pray that we will have that same resolve as a nation.
