We Are The People

Genesis 43:24-25

24 So the man brought the men into Joseph’s house and gave them water, and they washed their feet; and he gave their donkeys feed. 25 Then they made the present ready for Joseph’s coming at noon, for they heard that they would eat bread there.

Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night Edition of “We are the People” Prayer for America.  Every Sunday we bring together the hearts of intercessors that choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6:00pm and 9:00pm EST using the focus point listed below as a guide. The steward provided water so the brothers could wash their feet, and he provided feed for the donkeys. Then there was a present for Joseph and a lunch prepared.

Prayer Point #1 Water to wash feet. The Apostle Paul spoke of washing of water by the word. Pray that as America conducts business and communications around the world, it will be done with the gentleness and authority of God’s word.

Prayer Point #2 The donkey was both a bearer of burdens and a mode of transportation in the days of Joseph. So, pray that our carriers of both goods and people will be well cared for by those who transport precious goods.

Prayer Point #3 In addition to the provision of staples like water and grain, there was the provision of a present. Pray that America will be a nation that gives gifts to heads of state and others, so they remember their visits with fond memories.
