We Are The People

Genesis 43:31-32  ³¹ Then he washed his face and came out; and he restrained himself, and said, “Serve the bread.”  ³² So they set him a place by himself, and them by themselves, and the Egyptians who ate with him by themselves; because the Egyptians could not eat food with the Hebrews, for that is an abomination to the Egyptians.

Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night Edition of “We are the People” Prayer for America.  Every Sunday we bring together the hearts of intercessors that choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6:00pm and 9:00pm EST using the focus point listed below as a guide. May God bless you for your investment in the “We Are the People” movement that is helping to bring America back to God. We encourage you to join us in prayer daily and invite others to join us.

Joseph did those things that were proper in Egypt in his day.  Let us pray that we will do those things that are proper as we come together in groups that can be polarizing if we do not intentionally do some things that Joseph did to bring people together in his day.

Prayer Focus #1 Pray that our leadership in America will prepare themselves daily to be presentable and ready to serve as Joseph did in v.31.

Prayer Focus #2  In v.31 Joseph gave the command to serve.  Pray that with all that is happening within government today that we will not lose sight of the fact that public servants are to serve.

Prayer Focus #3  Even though Joseph and his brothers were family, there was a separation between Joseph and the rest. Pray that those who lead America into the future will be able to sit at the same table but always maintain the fact that there are two streams to the future that brings a good balance to our form of government.
