We Are The People

Genesis 44:4-6  When they had gone out of the city, and were not yet far off, Joseph said to his steward, “Get up, follow the men; and when you overtake them, say to them, ‘Why have you repaid evil for good? ⁵ Is not this the one from which my lord drinks, and with which he indeed practices divination? You have done evil in so doing.’ ”

⁶ So he overtook them, and he spoke to them these same words.

Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night Edition of “We are the People” Prayer for America.  Every Sunday we bring together the hearts of intercessors that choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6:00pm and 9:00pm EST using the focus point listed below as a guide. Joseph was about to have his brothers “face the music”.  Pray tonight that as Joseph dealt with his devious brothers, we will help others in the world community understand that we have not been treated fairly considering our kindness.

Prayer Focus #1  Pray that there will be a move of conviction upon many who have repaid evil for good that will change attitudes toward the USA.

Prayer Focus #2  Joseph knew he had his own cup planted in Benjamin’s sack of grain as a set-up to reveal the hidden hatred and jealousy of his brothers.  Pray that there will be a revelation of the guilt many have in the animosity there has been between political parties. 

Prayer Focus #3 The steward of Joseph’s house did exactly what was told by Joseph.  Pray that there will be people who are faithful in doing the will of our president and other leaders so there is the desired results.
