Genesis 44:7 “⁷ And they said to him, “Why does my lord say these words? Far be it from us that your servants should do such a thing.”

The steward of Joseph’s house brought an accusation against Joseph’s brothers in the previous verses. The brothers denied what they were accused of. Pray that when “brothers” in the House and Senate are accused of wrong doing that in truth they can respond, “far be it from me that I should do such a thing.
