We Are The People

Genesis 45:8 So now it was not you who sent me here, but God; and He has made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house, and a ruler throughout all the land of Egypt.

Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night Edition of “We are the People” Prayer for America.  Every Sunday we bring together the hearts of intercessors that choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6:00pm and 9:00pm EST using the focus point listed below as a guide. Yesterday we saw that Joseph knew that he had been set up by God for something bigger than himself. Today we will look at what God’s plans were and take those reasons to prayer for America.

Prayer Focus #1: Joseph became like a father to Pharoah. Pray that people God has placed as advisors to high level leaders in the land will have heart for God and a desire to facilitate His purposes being fulfilled in our day through the influence they have in the people they serve.

Prayer Focus #2: Joseph became the “lord” or head administrator over Pharoah’s house. Pray that believing workers in many levels of government throughout America will be elevated to positions of high levels and become influencers to those in authority.

Prayer Focus #3: Joseph became a ruler throughout Egypt. Pray this evening that God’s people throughout America will become men and women who will earn the respect of those in their circles of interest, to the end that they will be elevated to positions that increase their national acclaim and broader governing responsibilities across America.
