Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night Edition of “We are the People” Prayer for America.  Every Sunday we bring together the hearts of intercessors that choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6:00pm and 9:00pm EST using the focus point listed below as a guide. God still had plans for Jacob and his sons, even though there were many unusual things that happened to them all.

Prayer Focus #1: God spoke to Jacob at night. The Bible tells us that the Lord dwells in the light and the darkness. Pray that God’s people will hear His voice even in the darkest days and lead them to His perfect will.

Prayer Focus #2: God spoke to Jacob and Jacob knew it was the Lord. Pray that there will be a discerning spirit in God’s people in America that will give them an understanding that this is God’s voice of direction as to how to navigate during these unusual times.

Prayer Focus #3: When Jacob acknowledged God’s invitation to dialogue, the Lord wiped away Jacob’s fears and He told him of the great days to come. Pray that God’s people in America will see the fact that God is moving across the land and that America – when guided by the voice (the Word of God) will be great again.
