Genesis 45:27 But when they told him all the words which Joseph had said to them, and when he saw the carts which Joseph had sent to carry him, the spirit of Jacob their father revived.

The sons of Jacob (Israel) told their father that their brother Joseph was alive but in v. 26 we are told that Jacob did not believe their words. Then in v. 27 we discover that “the boys” told their father all Joseph said to them and showed him all Joseph sent with them to their father in Canaan. Pray that in America international relationships there will be not only hopeful words but also tangible expressions that help other leaders understand the sweetness of the deal we offer and convince then of good intentions. This approach made Jacob’s spirit revive.
