Genesis 47:10 ¹⁰ So Jacob blessed Pharaoh and went out from before Pharaoh.¹¹ And Joseph situated his father and his brothers and gave them a possession in the land of Egypt, in the best of the land, in the land of Rameses, as Pharaoh had commanded. ¹² Then Joseph provided his father, his brothers, and all his father’s household with bread, according to the number in their families

Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night Edition of “We are the People” Prayer for America.  Every Sunday we bring together the hearts of intercessors that choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6:00pm and 9:00pm EST using the focus point listed below as a guide. Jacob blessed Pharaoh after he rehearsed who he was and that his fathers were greater than he was on the earth. Jospeh, son of Jacob, then gave places to live to his father and brothers and he made sure they were cared for. Here we find three ways to pray tonight.

Prayer Focus #1: Pray that when our government officials leave meetings with other high-level leaders of government that they will always end meetings with a blessing.

Prayer Focus #2: Joseph made sure his brothers and father were well cared for. Pray that as America seems to be going through a restructuring that all leaders and lawmakers will consider America’s citizens and lawful residence first in all decision making.

Prayer Focus #3: Verse twelve tells us that Joseph took care of the families. Pray that our leaders will always consider and support people in a Biblical family concept.
