We Are The People

Genesis 47:19 Why should we die before your eyes, both we and our land? Buy us and our land for bread, and we and our land will be servants of Pharaoh; give us seed, that we may live and not die, that the land may not be desolate.”

Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night Edition of “We are the People” Prayer for America.  Every Sunday we bring together the hearts of intercessors that choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6:00pm and 9:00pm EST using the focus point listed below as a guide. The sons of Jacob were in touch with the situation, and it wasn’t good. They were willing to do anything to survive.

Prayer Focus #1: Pray that God’s people in America will see what is happening in our country concerning the rights of God’s people and be involved in seeing these rights restored and maintained.

Prayer Focus #2: Jacob’s sons offered to be servants to Pharaoh if he would give them some bread. Pray that Christians across America will not be servants or slaves to any ungodly ideology that will militate against Christian values.

Prayer Focus #3: The sons of Jacob were fearful that they would not survive if a deal could not be negotiated with Pharaoh. Pray that there will be a spirit of faith among God’s people and that they will have confidence in God’s supply in times of plenty and times of plenty and times of need.
