Genesis 47:22 Only the land of the priests he did not buy; for the priests had rations allotted to them by Pharaoh, and they ate their rations which Pharaoh gave them; therefore they did not sell their lands.

It is interesting to note that Pharaoh gave religious exemptions in that day. That status was not changed even in the time of famine. Pray that the leaders in America will not change current religious exemptions during these unsure economic times and as Pharaoh did provide for these “religious” organizations as Pharoah did giving the priests rations.
