We Are The People

Genesis 47:26-27 And Joseph made it a law over the land of Egypt to this day, that Pharaoh should have one-fifth, except for the land of the priests only, which did not become Pharaoh’s ²⁷ So Israel dwelt in the land of Egypt, in the country of Goshen; and they had possessions there and grew and multiplied exceedingly.

Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night Edition of “We are the People” Prayer for America.  Every Sunday we bring together the hearts of intercessors that choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6:00pm and 9:00pm EST using the focus point listed below as a guide. May God bless you for your investment in the “We Are the People” movement that is helping to bring America back to God. We encourage you to join us in prayer daily and invite others to join us.

It seems that the twenty percent “tax law” applied for many years and this leads us into our three focus points of prayer this Sunday evening.

Prayer Focus #1: Pray that America can in some way stabilize the percentage of tax burden so it will be affordable and provide for people as they approach their retirement years.

Prayer Focus #2: The Hebrews were able to accumulate possessions in the land of Goshen. Pray that America will continue to be a nation where people can leave inheritance to their children and not be taxed beyond their ability to leave an inheritance.

Prayer Focus #3: The environment had been created for the Israelites to grow and multiply. Pray that laws based on common sense economy will enable young couples to have children in their younger years and that they can provide the manpower of a growing economy.
